VIDES UK is a charity made up of volunteers from all over the UK. It has two main aims:
1. To provide training and formation for volunteers.
2. To organise activities for children and young people in the UK and abroad.

Fundraiser
On the evening of the 25th June, VIDES UK held a fundraiser in Queen of Martyr's Parish Club, Croxteth.
The night was a fun night of bingo and a quiz...and a fantastic raffle too.
Many thanks to all those who supported us either by being there or through buying a raffle ticket. The grand total raised was £609-FANTASTIC!!

Kenya 2010
With just 4 weeks to go, the group of volunteers are more than excited and eager to embark upon their Kenyan adventure! Fundraising is going extremely well and people from all different places have been extremely generous. The people of the Chabili Desert need to prepare themselves for the energy and enthusiasm of this group! They have completed the three training weekends and every practicality has been thought about. In February, a group of young people gathered in Bretta to find out all about VIDES. The theme of the weekend was 'Breaking the Ice'. Young people came from across the UK and a great time was had by all. Many have now signed up to take part in one of our summer projects and so we wish them luck as them start out as new VIDES volunteers.
