	Welcome to the VIDES UK homepage....
	VIDES UK is a charity made up of volunteers from all over the UK. It has two main aims: 1. To provide training and formation for volunteers. 2. To organise activities for children and young people in the UK and abroad. We do this through a number of projects: Formation Camps in the UK, where volunteers plan and run summer camps for the local young people. Volunteering abroad, where individual or groups of volunteers work in developing countries for a long term or short term experience. To find out more about us click here...

	Summer Projects 2009
	Summer is coming, and preparation for our two camps is under way. This year the Birmingham Camp will take place from the 24th July to the 2nd August 2009. The Liverpool Camp, in it's second year will take place from the 7th-16th August. For more details click on the banner above, or contact the VIDES Office.
	New...Job Opportunity
	An exciting and new opportunity has arisen for VIDES UK to employ a Paid Worker. VIDES UK is a Salesian Charity committed to the training and formation of volunteers and providing VIDES projects and clubs for children and young people in the UK and abroad. The role has three key objectives: To extend the outreach work of VIDES UK To provide administrative support through the running of the Vides office To raise funds through funding applications and the co-ordination of fundraising activities Closing date for applications: 6th July 2009 Post to commence 3rd September 2009 Click here to download more details.
